On a Mission

In 2018, as a group of mental health professionals and programs, we decided to join forces to tackle a Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG):

To drive adolescent anxiety, depression and suicide from the all-time highs of today to all-time lows by 2028.

Our ability to achieve this BHAG is dependent upon the strength of our culture, which is the starting point for our impact and success.

Our Core Purpose Our reason for being and the reason our organization exists, is to create joy and heal generations

Our Vision is to become the most respected, recognized and valuable family behavioral health care company in the world.

"I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold, service was joy."

Rabindranath Tagore

Our Core Values

We cannot "set" organizational values, we can only discover them. Nor can we "install" new core values into people. Core values are not something people "buy in" to. People must be predisposed to holding them. The task, therefore, is for us to find people who are already predisposed to sharing our core values. We must attract and then retain these people.

Our Core Values are so fundamental that we would hold them regardless of whether they were rewarded or not. These core values are ones we hope our children will hold when they become working adults. We envision these Core Values being as valid 100 years from now as they are today.

Empathy

Empathy is one of the most powerful agents of change used within our company. Whether interacting with our employees or facilitating treatment in one of our programs, empathy is pervasive throughout our culture. These empathetic, positive interactions result in authentic relationships where they can be the catalyst for change and growth.

  • BUILDING A CULTURE OF UNDERSTANDING

When our employees and students feel understood they feel valued. This sense of personal and professional value, formed from an authentic relationship with a supervisor, therapist or peer helps everyone that interacts with our organization feel understood and heard.
