Monica Gutierrez, LCSW

Monica Marie Gutierrez is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from Arizona State University. She is passionate about family and supporting youth and has been able to work in a variety of settings with adolescents and families including group therapy, individual counseling, and family counseling. Monica believes strongly in supporting teens and families with the use of strengths-based, client-centered, humanistic and family systems approach in order to empower one as an individual within the family while also strengthening the family to encourage personal development as both the individual and family unit. Monica has utilized her training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Care as well as in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to support teens through their personal growth journey. It is an inspiring experience for Monica to witness the development of teens and families when they are able to come together and support one another while providing a safe place for each member of the family to be the most authentic version of themselves. When Monica is not at work, you will find her spending her free time traveling with friends, crafting, spending quality time with family, or playing with her dog Bruce!
