Marissa Uher, ATR-BC, LPC

Marissa Uher is a primary therapist at Embark Behavioral Health in Berwyn, PA. Marissa is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Board-Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) with a Master of Science degree in Art Therapy and Counseling from Eastern Virginia Medical School. She has worked in various clinical settings, including an inpatient psychiatric hospital, a partial hospitalization program, an intensive outpatient program, a medical hospital for children and adolescents, and an alternative school. Through the use of traditional talk therapy and experiential expressive treatment, Marissa creates a space for pure exploration and acceptance in order to explore behaviors, develop adaptive coping skills, and facilitate healing. In her free time, Marissa enjoys painting, going to the beach, finding new books to read, and hiking with her three dogs.
