Katherine earned her master’s degree in Social Work from Brandman University after completing her undergraduate degree in sociology.

Katherine’s passion for helping others through therapeutic modalities began after a college internship at the Bridge to Home homeless services agency. Since then, Katherine has held positions with various non-profit agencies and has worked with children, adolescents, teenagers, young adults, and seniors.

Katherine’s training includes human trafficking advocacy, domestic violence advocacy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy and individual and group therapy modalities. Katherine’s passion is helping individuals recover from trauma.

Katherine proudly volunteers as a crisis counselor for a non-profit organization that focuses on suicide prevention amongst LGBTQ+ youth.

Katherine resides in Los Angeles with her wife and toy poodle. Katherine loves spending her spare time with her friends and family on off-roading adventures, surfing, hiking, and travelling. Katherine is also currently pursuing her Psy.D in the hopes of becoming a licensed psychologist in 2024.
