John Pelletier

John Pelletier serves as the HR Manager for Embark’s DC Metro clinics. He oversees all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruiting and hiring, training and development, successful onboarding and offboarding, and also contributes to daily operational management as an active participant in the leadership teams at Embark at Ashburn, Embark at Cabin John, Embark at Rockville, and Embark at Vienna.

Prior to this role, John was the Enrollment Director at Embark at Cabin John where he was able to learn deeply about the services Embark provides, while also gaining critical insights into what parents and clients need from treatment as well as developing relationships with key referral partners in the community.

John’s natural empathy and strong desire to make a positive impact have served him well throughout his time at Embark and have enabled him to chart a path of continuous growth with the company. Prior to that, his decades-long experience in retail management with both large national chains and hyper local specialty stores allowed him to develop superior customer service and people management skills which continue in his work today.

Outside of work, John enjoys spending time outdoors in nature, meditation, binging streaming television, and working as a volunteer at a local abused and neglected parrot sanctuary in Poolesville, MD. He serves as treasurer for Kunzang Palyul Choling Buddhist Temple’s Capital Campaign and is a board member for the Garuda Aviary.
