Jessica Lefiles

Jessica Lefiles

Operations Director

Jessica comes to our Outdoor Therapy Program with 15 years of wilderness and adventure program experience, the majority of which working with neuro diverse and under served youth. Jessica earned a degree in Psychology from Georgia College and State University where she also participated in the Outdoor Education program and found a passion for the power of experiential education and its ability to provide diverse learning opportunities that meet participants needs in new and exciting ways. While working with a specialized boarding school and summer program in the mountains of Western North Carolina Jessica gained experience working with teens and adolescents with complex family systems and backgrounds who were learning life skills that would allow them to find strengths in their diagnoses. She fell in love with mentoring and further developed outdoor skills that could be shared with peers and participants. In 2023 Jessica relocated to Dahlonega Georgia with her husband and two young daughters to be nearer to family and return “home”.

Jessica is an American Red Cross Lifeguard trainer and a Wilderness First Responder and enjoys helping others prevent critical situations, and react when they arise. In her free time she enjoys live music events, rafting and hiking with her family, and traveling to find new places to enjoy.
