Ivory Behunin, LCSW

Ivory Received her Bachelor of Science in psychology and Master’s degree in social work from Brigham Young University. Before working at Sunrise, Ivory worked as a therapist for multiple residential treatment facilities. She has also worked at Primary Children’s Behavioral Hospital in the outpatient Clinic and a therapeutic boarding school in Iowa. Before receiving her master’s degree, Ivory worked as a mentor within residential treatment for adolescent girls.

Ivory has experienced working with individuals and families struggling with depression, anxiety, sexual trauma, conduct disorder, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, and substance use. Ivory is also foundationally trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
