Fatima Juwara, LMSW

Fatima Juwara obtained her Master of Social Work degree from CUNY-Hunter College. She has experience working with adolescents and young adults in various settings including mental health industry, hospital, school, and non-profit organizations. During her time working in these settings, she gained experience using evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Fatima views herself as an ambitious individual with a goal to someday become an expert clinician working with adolescents and young adults experiencing mental and behavioral health challenges. When Fatima is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and creating long-lasting memories with them. As the IOP Coordinator, Fatima helps families navigate schedules, attendance and engagement, outcomes, and serves as the point of contact for any logistical or technological questions that come up throughout treatment.
