Brittany earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology, with a minor in Music from Brooklyn College and a Dual Master’s in Music Therapy and Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Immaculata University. She is a Board-Certified Music Therapist, often using music and other creative modalities to build self-awareness that clients can use to create change and build self-worth and meaning in life. She has experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with various challenges such as anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationship conflicts, crisis management, grief and loss, and trauma-informed care. Brittany’s counseling approach is humanistic, collaborative, and based on creative expression, acceptance, safety, and nonjudgment. She believes her purpose is to provide clients with a safe and supportive space to bring about positive change in their lives. Treatment models used include, but are not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy. Music, gaming, and reading are Brittany’s go-to hobbies. Brittany loves connecting to a story, whether in a song, book, or game. Hobbies include singing, playing guitar, and playing video games. Brittany is originally from Brooklyn, New York, and proudly reps it whenever possible.
