Blake McDonald

Clinical Support Staff

Blake is a Clinical Support Staff (CSS) here at Embark Behavioral Health. He provides broad support to our outpatient behavioral health team by assisting with client check-in and orientation, helping clients practice skills that promote emotional regulation, and helping lead group therapy. In the past, Blake has worked as a camp counselor for the Boy Scouts of America, as a lifeguard/pool manager, and group fitness instructor. Blake was born in Oceanside, CA but has spent practically his entire life in Centreville, VA. Blake attended Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) for two years and was eventually accepted to the University of Virginia where he rowed on the men’s rowing team and achieved a bachelor’s degree in sociology. Blake is currently enrolled in the clinical mental health master’s program at George Mason University with plans to become a therapist in the near future. In his free time, Blake enjoys hiking, painting, cooking, playing video games, and spending time with friends.
