Arianna Wheat, LMFT

Arianna holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology, with an emphasis in Drama Therapy, from the California Institute of Integral Studies. Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Drama Therapist and storyteller at heart.

Arianna specializes in the treatment of individuals suffering from the weight of being human, and all the ways that society’s issues can manifest as personal pain and mental illness. Before coming to OPI, Arianna worked in private practice and community counseling. Arianna brings the practice of using metaphor, symbolism and play to her work at OPI. She supports her clients in returning to the past, to bring forward what is useful and necessary, and let go of what no longer serves them.

In her free time, Arianna enjoys reading fiction, working up the nerve to someday play DnD, and seeing Lizzo in concert when opportunities permit.
