Merna Roshdy

Merna earned her MS in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University. Before joining Embark, Merna gained experience working with children, adolescents, and adults facing a wide spectrum of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, and life adjustments. Merna is deeply passionate about supporting adolescents and helping them discover their place in the world, feel safe, and heal. She is dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental environment for her clients, ensuring they feel heard and valued.

Additionally, Merna is passionate about racial identity and cultural matters, and she is dedicated to supporting individuals with a multicultural identity. As a native Arabic speaker, she has a profound understanding of this culture and enjoys working with individuals from all walks of life. In her free time, Merna enjoys painting or reading.
