Meet Joe, a seasoned professional in the field of counseling who has cultivated his expertise through diverse experiences in life. Originally hailing from Central Texas, Joe’s journey took root in Northern Illinois before he found his home in the picturesque landscapes of Colorado in 2005.

Driven by his passion for understanding human behavior and fostering growth, Joe pursued his higher education at Colorado Christian University, where he earned a Master of Arts in Counseling. With nearly two decades of experience in various clinical settings, Joe has honed his skills in providing support to teens, young adults, and families navigating mood and substance use disorders. Drawing from a rich tapestry of therapeutic modalities, Joe employs experiential processes to guide individuals and families on their journey towards lasting transformation. His extensive training in Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Focused CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy underscores his commitment to offering holistic and evidence-based care.

Beyond his clinical practice, Joe is deeply invested in personal and professional growth. He holds an Approved Clinical Supervisor certification from the National Board of Certified Counselors, demonstrating his dedication to mentorship and leadership in the field. Through immersive leadership training at Noeticus, Joe continues to refine his skills and nurture emerging talents in the next generation of counselors. Joe is passionate about leading clinical teams in providing excellent service.

Outside the office, Joe cherishes time spent with his blended family, which continues to expand with the addition of grandchildren. Joe finds solace and inspiration in the vibrant Colorado landscape. Whether he’s tending to the family garden, embarking on outdoor adventures with his dogs, or exploring the wilderness through paddle boarding, hiking, backpacking or camping, Joe embraces the spirit of exploration and rejuvenation.
