Jessica Elhatw, MS, Resident in Counseling

Jessica Elhatw (L-hot-two) was raised in Pennsylvania but has since lived in Missouri, Nevada, California, Virginia, Germany, and Thailand. She has spent the last five years traveling the world with her spouse and gaining invaluable experiences learning about and assimilating into other cultures. Jessica earned an AA in Psychology and a BS in Criminal Justice Social Administration from the University of Phoenix and a MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. She has experience in outpatient settings working with a diverse outpatient population including adolescents through late adulthood, individuals, families, and groups. Personal and professional experiences have reinforced Jessica’s devotion to helping teens and their families learn and use skills that increase autonomy, unify the family unit, and help support one another. Jessica is proud to be an Integrated Therapist, which means she employs a range of approaches and interventions tailored to ensure she is meeting each client where they are in their therapeutic journey.

Prior to completing her masters, Jessica worked within school systems in different roles, including as a teacher, in which she taught individuals ages three through seven, each at different levels on the Autism Spectrum, first, and third grade. In her free time, she loves traveling and having new adventures with her husband, daughters, and fur babies, Tinkerbell and Sasha. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing video games, and persistently working on self-care practices, such as going on walks, carving out time for yoga, or simply shutting down electronics and being present!
