Primary Therapist

While working towards her master’s degree in social work from Fordham University in New York City, Courtney worked with pregnant and parenting teens in foster care providing individual, dyadic and family therapy. There, she realized her passion for working with young people, particularly those with complex trauma histories. Courtney began her career post-grad as a school social worker in Central California, providing evidence-based therapies to middle and high school students. Soon after, in an effort to build her skillset in treating trauma, Courtney began working in a Partial Hospitalization Program in LA geared towards trauma survivors. While working at this center, she also completed her certification in Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga, a treatment modality that helps trauma survivors restore a feeling of safety in their bodies and their relationships. Courtney takes a well-rounded approach to therapy, including both cognitive and somatic modalities, one that is tailored to each unique individual and family with whom she works. When she’s not working, Courtney enjoys doing yoga, hiking, camping, and laughing with her loved ones.
