Claire has a bachelor’s degree from Newcomb College of Tulane University and master’s degrees from Johns Hopkins University and the Tulane University School of Social Work. She gained experience working in community mental health and inpatient psychiatry before transitioning into private practice. Claire supports adolescents and adults dealing with a variety of mental health challenges but specializes in helping those living with obsessive compulsive disorder and mood disorders. She has received post-graduate training in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), and motivational interviewing (MI). She is also a trained facilitator for Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE).

Before becoming a social worker, Claire spent a decade living overseas as a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of State. After six years in California’s Bay Area, Claire recently returned to her home state, Louisiana, where she enjoys spending time with her family and friends after many years away, cooking Cajun food, and staying out of the heat.
