Chloe Riven

Chloe Riven, LSW, SWC, MSSW
Chloe Riven (she/her) is the Enrollment Director at the Greenwood Village location, where she brings a unique blend of professional expertise, personal experience, and passion for helping others. As a licensed social worker (LSW) and certified child welfare caseworker in the State of Colorado, Chloe has dedicated her career to supporting individuals and families in need of a variety of services. Having been adopted from South Korea as an infant, then spent her childhood years in Maryland and Vermont, her journey has inspired a deep commitment to giving back to communities and advocating for those who may otherwise be overlooked.
Chloe earned her graduate degree (Master of Science) from Columbia University School of Social Work in New York City, where she developed a strong foundation in both clinical practice and social justice. Her career has spanned a diverse range of healthcare settings, including family advocacy at medical examiner’s offices, research on grief in marginalized communities, child protective services, women’s health, cancer research, senior living facilities, and end-of-life care. Chloe’s career path has also led her to work in inpatient behavioral health hospitals and children’s crisis stabilization centers, where she has supported a wide array of individuals—from children and adolescents to older adults.
Throughout her career, Chloe has honed her skills in diagnosing and treating a wide array of conditions, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. Using a mix of evidence-based and person-centered modalities such as psychoeducation, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), she strives to offer individualized care that empowers people to thrive and feel restored. She is particularly passionate about addressing disparities within marginalized communities and believes that everyone—regardless of their background—deserves access to compassionate, effective care.
At Embark Behavioral Health, Chloe is deeply committed to creating an environment where hope and meeting short and long-term goals are at the forefront. She values collaboration, authenticity, and vulnerability, and believes that true transformation happens when clients feel supported in their personal journeys. As part of the leadership team, Chloe is integral to ensuring that those who are seeking mental health services have the resources and guidance they need to take the first step toward a brighter future.
Outside of her professional role, Chloe leads an active and fulfilling life. She is an avid marathon runner and enjoys backcountry skiing with her dog and partner, combining her love of nature and fitness. Chloe also supports local businesses by frequenting farmer’s markets and enjoys relaxing with classical music, often attending symphonies for a dose of culture and tranquility. Her commitment to self-care and her love for her community reflects the same values she brings to her work, where she continues to advocate for mental health, resilience, and the potential for healing across all generations.
