Carrie Hansen

Carrie is an experienced and compassionate therapist with over 20 years of expertise in supporting young children, adolescents, teens, and families. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Master’s degree in Counseling from Colorado Christian University. Carrie spent seven years serving as a school mental health counselor for the Douglas County School District, where she developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by students and families. She also ran a private practice for two years, providing individualized care in a supportive and welcoming environment. Trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Carrie uses evidence-based therapeutic approaches to help clients process trauma, overcome challenges, and achieve lasting emotional well-being.

Carrie, a proud Colorado native, enjoys the beauty of Colorado’s outdoors, often spending her free time hiking and camping.
