Thomas Ahern
He has been working in behavioral health marketing leadership roles for over thirty years. Thomas obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Boston University, a Master’s Degree in Education, Sixth Year Professional Diploma in School Psychology and an Educational Leadership Certificate all from the University of Connecticut. Thomas, began his career as a School Psychologist and has been a dedicated advocate for improvements in the treatment and understanding of mental health issues for decades. He is the founder of several partial hospital programs, a youth service bureau, and innovator of multiple public-private behavioral health collaborations designed to improve the continuum of care for adolescents. An enthusiastic presenter/teacher, he has provided training at the local, state and national levels. An adoptee in reunion, Mr. Ahern serves as the President of the Association for Training on Trauma and Attachment in Children (ATTACh), and as an advisor to Classes4Classes. A competitive tri-athlete he resides in Arizona with his wife Belinda and their therapy dog Nando.
