Taylour Jones was raised in Southern New Jersey, where she received her BA from Rider University and MS in Criminal Justice specializing in Juvenile Trauma from the University of Baltimore. She is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., which has instilled within her the ideals of community service, action-oriented growth, and the dedication of transforming lives of others.
Taylour believes in “building our world’s youth for a greater tomorrow” in four main pillars: adapting to change, processing trauma/emotions, building healthy relationships, and maintaining positive coping skills. She has great experience working with children, adolescents, and families in a variety of settings, including inpatient hospitals, after school programing, communal settings, group homes, and outpatient facilities. She has completed training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Taylour is a Certified Trauma-Informed Care Specialist and Certified SMART Recovery Group Facilitator.
In her spare time, Taylour enjoys playing semi-professional basketball, spending quality time with family, traveling, coaching youth basketball, and intensifying her astonishing shoe collection.
