Matt Martinez

Matt Martinez joined Embark Behavioral Health in July 2019 as Director of IT and Growth Integration responsible for IT vision, strategy, and driving technology used to enable the achievement of clinical, operational, and financial goals. Matt brings 20 years of professional experience in enterprise IT projects, operations, and technology oversite to Embark Behavioral Health. He is extremely passionate about using cutting-edge technology to enable the achievement of Embark’s Big Hairy Audacious Goal! Prior to joining Embark, he held Senior Management positions at Fortune 500 hospitality, tourism, and technology manufacturing companies, leading and navigating strategic technology evaluation and implementation with oversight of onshore and globally dispersed technology teams across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. He has seen his experience using technology to serve hotel guests and airline passengers transition to a more meaningful calling to enable Embark’s front-line staff to serve customers, creating joy and impacting lives to heal generations. Matt holds an MBA from West Texas A&M and earned dual Bachelors (Bachelor of Accountancy and Management Information Systems) from New Mexico State University. Additionally, Matt holds a Project Management Institute certification and enjoys continuous learning. He loves Jesus and enjoys travel, outdoors, reading, cooking, and teaming up with his wife Monika to intentionally create moments and an environment for their two daughters Marysol and Marlene that result in enablement, empowerment, and a lifetime of lasting memories.
