Candace Stevens

Candace Stevens is one of the Primary Therapists at Embark Behavioral Health at Main Line. She earned an M.S. in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College, and a B.A. from Villanova University. Candace takes a mindfulness and strengths-based approach to therapy, and has worked as an individual, group, and family therapist.

She has been a certified yoga instructor since 2010, and integrates trauma-informed, body-based approaches into clinical work. She has studied the mind/body connection extensively, attending multiple trainings with Dr. Bessel van der Kolk, and has completed the Penn Program for Mindfulness. Outside of work, she enjoys dancing, making music, and exploring nature.
