
Alyssa DeGrace
Alyssa DeGrace is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She earned a Bachelors of Art’s Degree in Psychology from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University Maryland. Alyssa has worked in the mental health field for over a decade focusing primarily on adolescents and young adults with depression, anxiety, trauma, and/or substance use disorders. Alyssa has also worked in a variety of settings including psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment centers (RTC), partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP). Alyssa ascribes to a range of treatment modalities focusing primarily on evidence-based practices, neurobiology, psychoanalytic theory, and expressive therapies. Alyssa believes that clients and their behaviors are best understood through stories and aims to create a warm, welcoming space for them to heal and experience joy.
