Leah Madamba, MS, NCC, LPC

Leah is the National Director of Vive Family Services. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Spanish from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Science in Community Counseling from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Leah has spent over 20 years in the mental health field and knows the true value of building relationships and making them work within the community. From staying connected with past clients and staff to focusing on the importance of relationships in her own personal life, she prioritizes these things above all else.

Having started her career in wilderness as a therapist and program director, Leah saw first hand the value of ongoing therapeutic work once a client returns home.  In her former role as Vice President of Clinical Integration at InnerChange, she also realized the true value of using data in treatment and requiring a high level of accountability for successful outcomes.

Leah is proud of the many strong relationships she has within this field. She served as a Board member of NATSAP (National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs) as the Conference Chair of the Southeast Regional NATSAP Conference. She led the development of the Mentor Program for Evolving Women, an organization of that encourages the development of female leaders in the mental health field.

Leah and her husband live in Asheville, North Carolina. As parents of two very active children,  they recognize the importance of family and the hard work that is needed to nurture and maintain tight bonds. Leah is an avid reader and yoga practitioner. She and her family enjoy camping and traveling together.
