Selin Saka is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) working toward her Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Certification. Selin received her Master of Counseling degree from ASU and also has an additional Master’s degree in Bilingual and Multicultural Education, as well as her Bachelor of Science in World Languages Education. Selin has had a variety of experience working with children, teens, young adults, and adults, specifically working with anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and trauma. She has experience with individual, family, and group therapy using frameworks such as DBT, CBT, ACT, and experiential therapies. Selin’s passion for youth and adolescent mental health sparked during her 3 years as a middle school teacher in Virginia. She is dedicated to providing a space where clients can feel safe, heard, and validated, while prioritizing trust within the therapeutic relationship.
