Monique Shifflette is currently pursuing her master’s degree in social work at Arizona State University and obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Arizona. She has a passion for education and social justice, and promotes values of empowerment, self-advocacy and autonomy. Through holistic and integrative approaches, she strives to conduct culturally competent and inclusive services to meet the client where they’re at. Experiences in varied settings, such as residential, in-patient, and community-based environments, have provided her with a diverse perspective and perpetual curiosity that helps foster safe and compassionate relationships with clients. In her free time, she enjoys attending concerts and comedy shows, trying new restaurants, and doing jigsaw puzzles.
