Deena (she/her/hers) holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Before joining Embark, she gained experience working with adolescents and adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and life transitions.

Dedicated to supporting adolescents, Deena is committed to helping them and their families navigate the challenges that bring them into treatment. As a second-generation Afghan American, she deeply values the role of multicultural identity in mental health and strives to create a safe, inclusive space where individuals can explore and embrace their unique backgrounds.

Outside of work, Deena enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, running, reading, and exploring the outdoors. Deena Habibi is supervised by Terra Tuono-Shell (LCPC).
